737 MAX 8 In-Service Report

The 737 MAX 8 has found its way into quite a few airline fleets.

Unlike the troubled GTF engine family that has led to meltdowns galore on the tarnished A320neo fleet, the superiority of the LEAP-1B engine puts to rest the nonsensical claims that fuel burn would be an issue.

It isn’t.

737 MAX 8 is instead enjoying lower fuel burn – and there’s more room for that margin to grow. LEAP-1B is already better in every aspect than the troubled-plagued PW1100G-JM engine on the competing A320neo.

That lead will continue to expand, much in the same way that the CFM56-7BE was better on the Next Generation 737 family versus the A320 Classic.
